Volunteering

Melissa DeAngelo, owner of West Florida Insurance, is proud to give back to the local community whenever possible. She donates her time and volunteers for numerous organizations in the Sarasota area, including:

• Humane Society of Sarasota
• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Sarasota

She has also been accepted to the Leadership Program of Sarasota through the Chamber of Commerce. As a member of this program, she will be involved in programs designed to engage and nurture the leadership skills of current and potential leaders. Through her involvement with the Leadership Program, she will have the opportunity to help create awareness and connect leaders with the issues facing the community.

Whether she’s helping the animals at the Humane Society, being a positive role model for local kids as a member of Big Brothers Big Sisters or helping current and future leaders grow through the Leadership Program, Melissa truly enjoys giving back to the Sarasota community.
